FC 20-421C 20" .035" / 180 Mid-Grit Disc Scrub Brush for Factory Cat Tomcat Floor Scrubbers. A mild aggressive grit scrub brush designed for every day scrubbing jobs on hard surfaces. Used for removal of moderate dirt and soils on older sealed concrete, unsealed concrete, terrazzo, rubber, VCT, and other hard industrial surfaces. Mid-Grit scrub brushes consist of a .035" diameter DuPont Tynex-A or Hahls Nylon filament impregnated with 180 grit silicon carbide granules. Commonly blue in color. Equivalent to Midi-Grit, Scrub-Grit 3, and blue scrubbing pads. Not recommended for use on painted or epoxy painted flooring, use FC 20-421P (Poly) or FC 20-421N (Soft Nylon). For a slightly more aggressive disk brush, use FC 20-421S, .065"/46 Heavy Grit (.060/80grit). Fits Factory Cat and Tomcat scrubber models including Factory Cat MicroMag 20D, 390D, XR-40, 2017-20 and 2023-20. The XR Series and 2017/2020 Series have other models which require different diameter scrubbing brushes. Please check your existing brush block diameter and number of points on the clutch plate before ordering. These are manufactrued on a 19" diameter heavy duty poly scrubbing block and have a 20" wide scrub path. Three brushes are required for the 390D. Two brushes are required for the XR-40. One brush required for the MiniMag 20D, 2017-20, 2023-20. Includes the 8 point clutch plate (6pt.
