Strata-Grit

One step down in aggressiveness from the Strata-Grit Plus. Strata-Grit uses the same Tynex-A filament in a .060" diameter with slightly smaller grit granules. Used on industrial and commercial flooring surfaces for heavy duty scrubbing of unsealed concrete or for stripping of sealed concrete, terrazzo, quarry and vinyl tile. Our most commonly used grit filament. Found in most aggressive cylinder scrub brushes from manufacturers such as Tennant, Advance, Minuteman and Factory Cat. A very aggressive scrubbing and stripping brush. Replaces black floor pads. Also known as Abrasive, Purple Grit Brush, and Magna Grit. Commonly Dark Blue or Purple.

Nylon

Stiff Nylon .030"/.044"

Stiff Nylon .045"

Nylon .022"

A soft brush that is ideal for scrubbing light dirt and soils, not abrasive enough for heavy soils.

Level Poly .030"

A Medium-stiff poly scrub brush, the .030" level poly will be stiffer than the .030" crimped poly.

Poly .035"/.055"

Natural Fiber (Union)

A mix of Tampico and Bassine. Used primarily indoors in dry conditions where high dust is an issue. The high desnity version of this brush is great for indoor dust collection. Natural fiaments were the first materials inserted into sweeping brooms. An old school type of broom. For a longer lasting brush, look to the synthetics such as Nylon or Poly.

Crinkle Wire

ProEx

ProEx/Wire Mix

A blend of polypropylene in .015", .025", and .035" diameters mixed with our .012" crinkle wire. Yellow and Black in color. Another winner for indoor or outdoor sweeping. Great for general litter collection. The crinkle wire adds a cutting action for compacted dirt and sand. One of our most popular brooms.
