FC 20-421S 20" .065"/46 Heavy Grit Disc Scrub Brush for Factory Cat Tomcat Floor Scrubbers. Our second heaviest grit scrub brush designed for heavy duty scrubbing and stripping jobs. Used for removal of heavy dirt and soils on unsealed concrete, asphalt, and other hard industrial surfaces. .065"/46 Heavy Grit scrub brushes consist of a heavy .060" diameter DuPont Tynex-A or Hahls Nylon filament impregnated with 80 grit silicon carbide granules. Commonly blue, purple or black in color. Equivalent to Tough-Grit. Not recommended for use on painted or epoxy painted flooring (unless you are stripping them). For a slightly more aggressive disk brush, use FC 20-421SS, .065"/46 Heavy Grit Plus. Fits Factory Cat and Tomcat scrubber models including Factory Cat MicroMag 20D, XR-40, 2017-20 and 2023-20. The XR Series and 2017/2020 Series have other models which require different diameter scrubbing brushes. Please check your existing brush block diameter before ordering. These are manufactrued on a 19" diameter heavy duty poly scrubbing block and have a 20" wide scrub path. Two brushes are required for the XR-40.
